Ma’alot Farms is cultivating a healthier world through sustainable farming, regenerative practices, and community-centered food systems. We would love for you to be a part of our community and our farm. Membership is a way to connect, learn, and support our community-centered food system.
Perks of membership
- Access to exclusive member’s only events such as farm tours, animal visits, produce tastings, bonfires, and tree net hang outs.
- Members only behind the scenes content–our members corner provides recipes, seasonal tips, farm musings, and a behind the scenes peek of daily life on the farm. (COMING SOON!)
- Opportunities for members only u-pick days. Bring your family to the farm to collect whatever is in season. Leave some for us to share with our donation partners and take some home for you, your family, and friends.
- Annual Farm box with products from the farm. Available for pickup in July.
- Priority registration for classes and workshops
- The knowledge that you are a vital part of helping feed our local community and care for our ecosystem. 80% of the membership cost is a tax-deductible donation that directly supports our work.
We offer three membership levels, each membership includes all members of your household.
Ma’alot Farms Yearly Membership Plans
Harvest Helper Membership - $180/year
Includes a tax-deductible donation of $144.

Homesteader Membership - $360/year
Includes a tax-deductible donation of $288.
All the benefits listed about plus:
- a holiday farm box available for pickup in December.
- Ma’alot Farms t-shirt or hat to protect you when you enjoy time outside and a tote bag to haul all of your fruits, veggies, and other treasures.
Planters with a Purpose Membership - $500/year
Includes a tax-deductible donation of $400.
All the benefits of the Homesteader Membership plus:
- A private farm tour and animal visit for you and your friends. Learn about our mission and regenerative farming in practice directly from our founder, Shoshana Ohriner.
- Access to exclusive farm-to-table experiences
Sustaining Memberships
Generous gifts at these higher levels allow us to sustainably continue all the growing, community building, and programing here at the farm.
These memberships offer all the perks of the Planters with a Purpose Membership as well as some exclusive unique bonus experiences.
Sustaining Roots Membership - $1800/year
Includes a tax-deductible donation of $1440.
All of the benefits of the Planters with a Purpose Membership Plus:
- Opportunity to host a private campfire experience for up to 10 people at Ma’alot Farms including a campfire, hot cider, and a homemade gourmet s’mores bar.
Sustainable Seeds Membership - $3600/year
Includes a tax-deductible donation of $2880.
All of the benefits of the Planters with a Purpose Membership Plus:
- Private tree net experience for up to 10 people. Relax in the canopy of the oak forest overlooking the Almaden valley in our unique tree net. Farm snacks and beverages round out the experience.
Grower's Circle Membership - $5000/year
Includes a tax-deductible donation of $4000.

- Opportunity to host a private cooking class or farm workshop for up to 10 people.
Nature's Nurturers Membership - $10,000/year
Includes a tax-deductible donation of $8000.
